age 91, of Park Falls, passed away peacefully at her home on April 24, 2026.
June was born on July 24, 1934, in Chicago, the daughter of Anton and Joanna (Ehmke)
Schloer. In 1988, June moved to the Northwoods, to care for her sister and embrace a quiet and
fulfilling life surrounded by the land she loved.
June was a homemaker and spent time working at Span Machinery. She had a deep affection
for animals, especially her cats, and found joy in their companionship. She was also known for
her love of gardening and her appreciation for the simple beauty of country living. June truly
loved the Northwoods and the life she built there.
She is survived by her son, Robert Olson; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, sister-
in-law Elyn Schloer, and by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. June
was preceded in death by her parents and siblings; John Schloer, and Carol Schloer-Kane.
Per her wishes, her remains will be scattered on her family farm, a final return to the land she
cherished.
