GREEN BAY, Wis. (WGBW) – The forecast is wet, soaked with showers and some storms leading up to and expected on Draft Days in Green Bay.

A low pressure system is swinging by Wisconsin at exactly the wrong time.

As thousands of NFL fans descend on the Fox Valley and into Titletown over the next few days, pack a poncho.

A warm front is lifting through the state, sparking up some showers and thunderstorms Wednesday night. Some may be severe with hail a risk.

Thursday looks dark, with plenty of clouds hanging around but also mixed with moments of some sunshine. High temperatures will reach the low 60s and scattered showers could start to move into the Green Bay area. But the steady and heavier rain rolls in late, mostly after 11 PM.

7 AM Friday Forecast

It’ll continue to drench the Fox Valley into early Friday morning, bringing around 0.50″ of rainfall. It’ll ease up late morning and be done by noon. Up next, battling breezy winds for the rest of the day. They’ll be gusting out of the north around 30mph. Temperatures will also be held much cooler, in the upper 40s. Dress in layers and be sure to have a waterproof or wind breaker outer layer.

You can shed the rain gear and coats on Saturday for Brad Paisley. The sun will dominate the day and temperatures will rise a bit, reaching near 60 degrees in Titletown.

National Weather Service

Activities are going on now and music is blaring, after hard work and plenty of preparation!

Gates open at noon Thursday and Friday and at 9 a.m. on Saturday.

Get ready for traffic, too. Roads are closed, and prime parking spots are being used for the Draft areas. Green Bay Metro Transit has an answer though. Local spots like Appleton are also providing bus transportation to and from the area.

The timing of the 2025 NFL Draft placed after Earth Day has the Fox Valley shining bright and about to turn green and gold, Wisconsin’s waited for this!
