MADISON, Wis. (WMDX) – The Madison Parks Department is looking for people to help with their biggest volunteer park cleanup.
Volunteers will clean more than 60 parks across the city Saturday. The event is in honor of Earth Day.
They’ll be picking up trash, raking and weeding. Some supplies will be provided depending on the park. The cleanup is from 10 a.m. to noon.
People who want to volunteer must register beforehand if they’re over age 14. You can find the registration portal here. That registration will show where volunteers are most needed, and allow them to choose which park they’ll clean.
The city of Madison has been hosting this Earth Day cleanup for almost 30 years.
